Miquel Castells started over 10 years ago creating sustainable collections for major companies. He later developed his own collections, going from managing a handful of clients to producing more than 600 product references per year.

How did Thinking MU come about and what is your philosophy?

We started over ten years ago with the idea of proving that sustainable fashion can be attractive and competitive. We use recycled and organic materials, and apply responsible production practices at every stage. We bring that same efficiency mindset to business management: there is no point in being sustainable with your product and then wasting resources on chaotic internal processes.

What challenges did you face before using Holded?

When we went from producing a few references to over 600 per year, management complexity skyrocketed. We had spreadsheets everywhere, communication between departments was manual, and errors multiplied. We needed a tool that would let us scale without losing control.

How does Holded help you day to day?

Holded allows us to have a better relationship with our clients, both when providing them with reports and when managing orders. We manage inventory across all references, coordinate projects between teams, and keep accounting integrated. Everything from a single platform, which saves us a lot of time and reduces errors.

Which Holded features do you use most?

Mainly HR, Projects, Inventory, and Accounting. Inventory is critical for us with so many references, we need to know at all times what we have in stock and what we need to produce. Projects help us coordinate seasonal collections, and accounting gives us real-time financial visibility.
