Editeca

Editeca is an online school specializing in architecture, engineering, and emerging technologies. Based in Madrid and Zaragoza, it offers customizable master's programs with official certifications from Autodesk and Universidad Isabel I.

How was Editeca founded, and what is its educational approach?

I founded Editeca to democratize online technical education. After years as a university professor in Madrid and Zaragoza, I saw the opportunity to create customized master's programs with multiple specializations. Our e-learning methodology combines video theory with hands-on exercises, prioritizing student convenience. My advice for aspiring entrepreneurs: test your product first. If it works, go for it; if not, pivot.

How did you discover Holded, and what changed?

We discovered Holded through an Instagram ad. We finally stopped using Excel. Holded became an indispensable tool for data extraction and business analytics. One-click invoicing, implementing SKUs for course tracking, and analytical dashboards for planning and grant applications have been a radical change.

How did you tackle the challenges of the pandemic?

Despite the challenges of the pandemic, Editeca experienced virtually no operational disruption, as our model was already fully online. The only issues were occasional communication hiccups. Having Holded as a centralized platform allowed us to maintain financial and operational control without interruption during that period.
