Holded
MCP Server
Let AI assistants like Claude interact with your Holded data naturally. Ask questions, create invoices, check balances, all through conversation.
Calling list_invoices(status="unpaid")...Connect Holded to your AI assistant
The Holded MCP server lets AI assistants work directly with your account: create and look up invoices, manage contacts and products, check balances, all through natural conversation. It is remote and standards-based (OAuth 2.1 over Streamable HTTP), so it works with any MCP-compatible client.
Every client below connects to this same server URL. Copy it once and keep it handy.
Before you start: You need a Holded account with API access enabled.
Choose your client
Pick the tool you use. They all connect to the same server URL above; only the steps differ.
One-click connect from the Connectors directory
We're putting the finishing touches on the official Holded connector. Soon you'll add it in a couple of clicks, no setup. While we wrap it up, the manual setup below takes about a minute.
Only your Claude account admin can add external connectors. On Team or Enterprise workspaces, ask your admin to enable Holded, or add it from a personal account.
Or add it by hand
Use this on Claude Desktop or Claude Code, or whenever you prefer to add the connector manually.
- 1
Open claude.ai, click your profile icon, then Customize, then Connectors.
- 2
Click the "+" button and choose "Add custom connector".
- 3
Paste the MCP server URL shown above.
- 4
Click Connect. Your browser redirects to the Holded login.
- 5
Authorize access. Done.
You decide what your AI can do
Your assistant always inherits the permissions of your own Holded user: it can never do anything you can't. When you authorize the connection, Holded asks which role to grant within those limits. Pick the level you're comfortable with and change it any time from your credentials.
Analyst
Read onlyYour assistant can look things up: invoices, contacts, balances, stock. It can read, but it can never change anything.
Operator
Read and writeEverything in Analyst, plus the ability to act: draft invoices, add contacts, register payments, update records.
Custom
Your rulesHand-pick exactly which permissions to grant, one scope at a time, for full control over what's connected.
Check it works
Ask your assistant something about your account. It uses the Holded tools to fetch real data.
Manage the connection
- Disconnect: in your client's connector settings, click Holded and choose Disconnect.
- Reconnect: repeat the install steps above.
Connecting generates an access token in Holded with the permissions you granted to the MCP. You can review it any time in Developers, then Credentials.
