Overview

The Holded MCP server connects your account to any MCP-compatible AI assistant through a single remote URL. Once connected, the assistant sees the tools listed on this page and calls them on your behalf. Every call is authorized with OAuth 2.1 and runs as your own Holded user.

Read and write are separate tools

No tool does both. A tool either reads data or changes it, never the two at once. Your assistant can look things up freely, and anything that touches your records stays under your control.

They fetch data and return it. They never create, update or delete anything. Your assistant can usually run them without asking you each time.

Write tools

They create or modify records in your account. They are flagged as such, so your assistant asks for confirmation before every call.

The exact list your assistant sees depends on the permissions you granted when connecting and on your Holded plan.

Permissions and scopes

Your assistant inherits the permissions of the Holded user who authorized the connection: it can never do anything you cannot do. When you authorize, you choose which role to grant: read only, read and write, or a custom set of scopes.

Connecting creates an access token in Holded with exactly the permissions you granted. You can review or delete it any time in Developers, then Credentials.

Tools read and write the Holded records the request needs: invoices, contacts, treasury, stock. Nothing else.

None of your conversations

The connector does not read your chat history, your memory, conversation summaries or your files. It only receives the parameters of the call.

No extra copies

Data goes back to your assistant in the moment and is not stored outside Holded. Requests are logged for security and troubleshooting.

Revoke whenever you want

Disconnect from your assistant's connector settings, or delete the token in Holded. Access stops instantly.

Requirements and support

You need a Holded account with API access enabled. If a tool fails or you see no tools at all, chat support is available inside the app and the help center covers the most common setup problems.
